東大学生の寄宿舎として半世紀以上もの長い歴史を有する「綾尾荘」を、一級建築士5名の手で画期的なリノベーションをもたらしました。

2017年1月より6ヶ月の施工を経て、江戸時代から由緒のある駒場の地で、伝統と現在そして未来を合体した新しい生活空間に生まれ変わりました。

伝統的な日本家屋の素晴らしい木造骨組みを生かし、建築法の新耐震基準を基づく基礎部分の耐震補強工事、地震に強い耐力壁工事、アルミ断熱材を導入するなど、あらゆる面でより安心安全な生活空間を配慮し、多くの職人達の手でできるだけの工法で仕上げました。設備や防犯・安全面にも気を配っています。ソニー、ダイソン、パナソニック、TOTO、LIXILなどの人気メーカーの新製品や最新のセキュリティー防犯システムを導入し、安心・安全・上質・快適な生活道具も揃っています。もちろん共用部・個室すべてWi-Fi完備！ついに4Ｃシェアハウスの誕生！（4C:Concept*コンセプト、Compact*コンパクト、Comfort*コンフォート、Community*コミュニティ）

For over half a century,”Ayao Apartment”as a dormitory for many students of the University of Tokyo, has now been renovated by 5 registered architects of the first-class!

After 6 months of renovation from January 2017, “SOU komabatodai” has turned into a new life space: a mixture of tradition, present and future. The location “komaba” is a well-recognized area since the Edo period.

We have made use of traditional Japanese wood-frame and introduced aseismic reinforcing work for building foundation based on the new earthquake-resistance standard, bearing wall to resist earthquakes and aluminum heat insulator in order to provide safe and secure life environment.

We also pay close attention to facilities and security. The apartment is equipped with new products of popular manufacturers, such as Sony, Dyson, Panasonic, TOTO and LIXIL, together with the newest security anti-crime system.

Wifi service is provided at both common area and private rooms. 4C (concept, compact, comfort, community) share-house is now welcoming new tenants! 2nd floor is women-only area. Living rooms and kitchens, uses commonly among the residents are at both floors.

Supermarket and restaurants which are open till late at night are in walking distance. Daily necessities can be purchased nearby. 5 minutes-walk from Komaba-todaimae station (Keio Line), 19 minutes-walk from Shibuya station (Various lines).
